Call for Papers For Special Issue guest-edited by Alain Masquelet and Peter Giannoudis:Bone Regeneration using the Masquelet Technique: Signature Collection of Cases
Impaired fracture healing following fracture fixation remains one of the most frequent and challenging complications to treat. In addition to nonunion, bone defect management continues to be problematic with variable outcomes reported in the literature.
One of the techniques that has gained popularity in recent years to manage non-unions and bone defects is the Masquelet technique.
We invite case reports for submission and consideration for inclusion in this Special
Issue to be published December 2021.
The best 3 case reports will receive a certificate signed by both Professor Alain Masquelet and Professor Peter V Giannoudis.
Deadline for submission of August 15 2021
*Case reports submitted must be original and not to have been previously published.
