Operative patella fracture–Should it be operatively treated with a tension band technique or a newer plate?

      HISTORY – A 39yo female is involved in a slip and fall mishap at home. She fell 3 stairs and suffered a closed fracture of the right patella. She is otherwise unhurt (Fig. 1a and b).
