Femoral neck fracture in a young person – ORIF but do we use a medial buttress plate as well on the femoral neck?

      HISTORY – A 25yo male is involved in a motorbike collision at high speed. ATLS principles are performed, and it is determined that he suffered a left femoral neck fracture, but he is otherwise unhurt (Fig. 1).
