Highlights
- •The strength, size, speed and unpredictably behavior of camels can cause significant injuries.
- •Camel-related trauma may involve complex injury patterns and is a substantial contributor to major trauma and injury to the human population in the Arab Middle Eastern region.
- •These injuries can be caused by camel bites, falls from their backs, kicks, or collisions with motor vehicles.
- •The relative magnitude of each mechanism is not extensively studied in the contemporary literature.
- •This quick scoping review will help to develop safety awareness, improving the existing management and public health strategies.
