Traumatic dislocation of the hip with ipsilateral femoral shaft fracture: a method of treatment

      Abstract

      Two cases of posterior fracture-dislocation of the hip associated with an ipsilateral femoral shaft fracture are presented with a technique of reduction and stabilization which allows for closed treatment of both injuries. This approach is advantageous in the severely injured patient.
